Our Services
We provide a range of services promoting good health and well-being for all older people in the London Borough of Hounslow.
We’ve consulted older people about our services and used their views to develop our social, educational and recreational activities. We’re constantly developing, and always looking for new ideas to explore.
Below is a brief summary of our main activities. You can find more details on the individual services pages, using the menu on the left.
Social Activities
The Albany Social Centre provides a venue for groups and individuals to meet and socialise. We offer many different activities and classes.
The Advice and Information Service
Free, impartial and independent advice on topics including benefits, housing, employment and many more. We also provide a community outreach advice service.
Health and Fitness
We provide fitness and health-related services as part of the Fit as a Fiddle programme, the Footsteps nail cutting service and many different active classes and sessions.
The Handyperson Scheme
Help with home maintenance.
The Internet Café and Computer Training
We’re opening up the on line world to our users with access to the internet and training.
The Age Concern Hounslow Charity Shop
Sells clothing, household goods, prints and cards and much more. Staffed by volunteers, all proceeds go towards providing our services.
We also provide access to services offered by Age Concern nationally, including insurance, financial advice, legal services, emergency alarms and more - see the Age Concern Products and Services page.
