We promote 'active ageing'!
As well as the wide range of activities available at Alexandra House we work with a wide range of community groups. We contribute to evetns throughout the year including the June Festival, Black History Month and at religious festivals like Christmas, Eid and Diwali.
We're always open to new ideas - come along and get involved!
Computer Training and the Internet Cafe
Our 8 up-to-date PCs give access to the internet and are also used for training, For full details, see the dedicated page – link on the left.
Arts and Crafts
Enjoy developing skills and hobbies at our modestly priced, tutor-led sessions. Beginners always welcome!
Current activities include mosaic making, papier mache and singing.

Socialising
The Albany Centre provides an ideal place to mix with other people, with plenty of space, accessible facilities, refreshments and a friendly atmosphere.
We have parties and gatherings at special times of the year like Christmas.
