Help in Hounslow Volunteer Opportunities
We're recruiting to a variety of voluntary roles in an exciting new advice service in Hounslow. If you'd like to help vulnerable people and if you enjoy interesting work with a friendly team then we'd love to hear from you!
Help in Hounslow provides an Advice & Information Service to vulnerable adults (and their carers), including the elderly, those with physical or learning disabilities and mental health needs, which are over the age of 18, and are resident in the London Borough of Hounslow.
The aim of the scheme is to provide a free and confidential generalist telephone, drop in and personal advice service.
Currently available volunteer roles include Telephone Advisor, Administrative Support and Statistical Analysis.
You would have to be able to commit a minimum 4 hours per week. Roles are based in Brentford or Feltham. Full training is given, and expenses reimbursed.

‘Be A Friend’ (BAF)
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can commit to an hour or so a week to befriend a lonely housebound person, to share current news, views and memories.
If you know of anyone who could benefit from a one to one visit or may like to become a BAF volunteer.
